So You Think You Can Drag?

Calling all gender expressions! Find your inner drag persona!

Open to all levels of Drag from Baby Drag to Celebrity!

Join in a celebration and exploration of Drag. Interested in developing/discovering your persona? Join the contest. This is a place to explore drag culture and discover your own drag persona.

The expectation is that you remain respectful in representations of the culture.

You will be required to submit 3 short video sequences that showcase the following:

  • Your Look (your signature drag style)
  • Your Talent (lip sync, sing, dance…whatever you’re great at!)

A category selected by the planning committee that all contestants must complete

Once your application is accepted we will contact you with further instructions.

You will record and submit your performance between June 9th-18th, 2020.

  • Your performance will be judged by 3 Fabulous Queens or Kings (expect a “Shoot or Cute” reaction)
  • The winner will win a gift basket from Kemptville Pride. The basket will be filled with products and services from Kemptville Pride supporters.

Decorate your house, your yard, your garden….just have fun with it! With Covid-19 still a concern, we ask that you try to use things you already have around the house. Christmas lights, party streamers etc. Take pictures and post them to FaceBook or Instagram and use #KemptvillePrideHome

Post pictures from June 8-17. We have 3 guest judges who will pick a winner in the following categories:

Fearless and Fabulous: Awarded to the home that went above and beyond to demonstrate their fearlessness with their expression of Pride.  Winner receives a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses.
Most Creative: Awarded to the home that thinks outside the box when it comes to their choice of décor, with creative forms of expression and the reusing of materials they already have at home – avoid the extra trip to the store during COVID-19! Winner receives a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses.
Rural Pride: Awarded to a rural home that utilizes their rural setting for their display? Winner receives a gift basket filled with goodies from local businesses.
Boldest Business: Awarded to the business with the biggest & boldest display of Pride. Winner receives a catered lunch and free advertising and publicity on Kemptville pride platforms.


Kemptville Pride and Geronimo Coffee House are sponsoring a Fundraiser on Sunday February 2, 2020, 9.00am – 2.00pm.

All donations will support Kemptville Pride activities on Saturday, June 6, 2020.
